The Miracle Mile/Beverly Center-Grove Area encompasses the boundaries of Melrose Avenue at the north, San Vicente Boulevard to the south, La Brea Avenue on the east and San Vicente/La Cienega Avenues to the west. Most recently this neighborhood has become a major shopping center for the surrounding residents. The most notable shopping can be found at the re-developed Farmers Market at 3rd Street and Fairfax Avenue and The Grove outdoor shopping center. Angelinos frequent this shopping center because it is convenient for dining, people watching, taking in a movie and shopping. In addition it is pet friendly. You will usually see a celebrity amongst the crowd. The neighborhood consists primarily of single family homes and duplexes. The neighborhood is also shadowed by the large Park La Brea complex built in 1944-1998. Museum Square is on the east end of Miracle Mile. There you will find the LACMA(Los Angeles County Museum of Art)
